This is mainly re: last post, but I saw that you’ve already written a new one so I’ll just post here
Be prepared to not even having to open your mouth and be suddenly judged as being an American/foreigner. It’s enlightening yet disturbing. Oh and it’s good to be lost in a country (once in a while)- keeps you on your toes. Have fun, keep in touch, and I will surely send you my address so we can be pen pals

Hey Andrew, are you in Beijing now? I’m in Beijing doing my summer research project. But I’m leaving for the U.S. on the 8th. Do you have time to come out and have lunch or dinner?
