My placement is at the 3rd Middle School of the Yucai School Group in Shenzhen’s Nanshan District!
It’s one of the blue dots in the south portion of the map.

The area it’s in, southern Nanshan district, is also known as Shekou. It’s mostly known as an expat community – so I don’t know what that will imply for my Chinese language skill practice. I might have to be very self-motivated about it.

You should enlarge the map. And the 3rd Middle School of the Yutai School Group is not far from Shekou Middle School. Can you see the Yucai Shuman Yishu School? Then you enlarge and enlarge, and the Shenzhen Yucai Sanzhong is near. I think Shenzhen Yucai Sanzhong is just the school you tried to find.
[Sanzhong(三中)just means 3rd middle school.三中 is abbreviation of 第三中学 in Chinese.]

Hey Vivien and Dad, I messed up and yes, Vivien you’re correct, it is Yucai and Yucai Sanzhong must be it. I changed the post a bit to reflect the new information!

I found the school on the map and the web site on the internet. This is a very new and modern school. It would be interesting as to how they receive you. You will get a first hand experience of being immersed in the Chinese education system. Exciting!
