Thursday is going to be the roughest day of the week for me – I’m on lunch break again right now after having taught 3 classes in the morning. I have two more to teach in about half an hour or so. Since I’m just repeating the same lesson plan for each of the 12 different class groups, things are getting pretty easy, although I have my mind towards the future and next week’s plan already.
Walking through this school is still kind of surreal at times. Especially with the skybridges that link the classrooms together, it sometimes feels like I’ve been transplanted into the scene of a Taiwanese soap opera.
Case in point: I think this morning a bunch of girls yelled out at me “I love you!” and scurried away in terrified laughter.
Edit: Please don’t ask me how I know about that soap opera.

Where did you find this video?
I plead the fifth.
Well, Andrew, if it makes you feel less weird, odds are, you will never have that many girls scream I love you at you ever again.
That’s alright, I wasn’t aiming at the 12-year-old demographic. Help yourself.
I can’t believe you watched more of that drama than me.
