Chinese people would be much more likely to confound the "th" sound with "s" - e.g. "sank you" or "Happy Birsday." If it shows up in your textbook, I really don't know -- you could very well be right... though I would venture to guess that it's a misprint made in earnest rather than one made due to mispronounciation. Sweet title. I'm glad to hear Nanshan is working out well. I am settled in at my primary school in Lou hu and I have one burning question: how are all Chinese children so damn cute?!?!?! I've met some of my little students-to-be and eeeeevery one, man. P.S. regarding your valiant attempts to find my school on google maps, it is on Tianbei Si Rd (Si as in 4).
